Our Mission

Ice Cream for Bunny was conceived on May 28, 2015 by the parents of Beni Monet Parker (2014), out of a desire to not only spread awareness for Perinatal and Neonatal Loss, but to also establish a charitable fund providing confidential and timely financial assistance to families in need of basic funeral and/or burial assistance in the event of fetal demise and/or neonatal death.

The Ice Cream for Bunny campaign shall accept financial donations year round in addition to its #IceCreamForBunny celebration to be held annually, on May 28, in recognition of Beni Monet Parker’s birthday. In partnership with  GET GIVE GROW INC, A 501 (C)(3) NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION, and through a fundraising event with local ice cream shops, Ice Cream for Bunny raises funds on May 28, of each year, by asking its supporters to make monetary donations and purchase ice cream (ideally from participating ice cream shop locations) and post a photo of themselves on social media using the hashtag #IceCreamForBunny.

100% of funds collected from the fundraising event with local ice cream shops and direct donations will be deposited into an account exclusively reserved for the charitable use of those persons and families benefiting from the philanthropy.

*Funds collected will not be utilized for any other expenses or purposes other than those previously expressed.
